Protect Our Care runs the Sick Of It! Fix Health Care Now campaign. This page explains what we collect when you share your story and how we protect it.

Your story

When you submit a story, your first name and city & state may be published. Your email address is private — we use it only to follow up with you, and it is never displayed publicly, never included in share images, and never sent to public pages.

Consent & age

You must be 18 or older to submit. We record the exact consent language you agreed to, along with a timestamp and IP address, as a release of rights. Nothing you submit is published until a member of our staff reviews and approves it.

Video & audio

Recordings are processed and hosted by our video provider (Mux) for transcoding and captioning. We store a playback reference, not the raw file on this site.

Your right to delete

You can ask us to remove your story at any time. On request we permanently delete your record and any associated video. Email privacy@protectourcare.org.

Analytics

We use privacy-friendly analytics that do not track you across sites or build advertising profiles.
